I'm a big catch-and-release advocate, especially when it comes to big fish. Larger snook tend to be females, which produce the most little snook. I encourage you to release large snook under all circumstances, even those which fall below the legal slot limit of 34". That said, it's always nice to have a record of that big one that didn't get away. Here are some great snook pics featuring fish of all sizes, including some real "hawgs". Just click on a thumbnail to see a larger version. I invite you to submit a snook pic of your own. Just scan it, save it as a JPEG file, attach it to an e-mail, and send it to us. I'll update the photos as often as I can. Be sure to include your name and the general location of the catch. If you don't have a scanner, send an actual photo to McLean Multimedia, PO Box 10791, Naples, FL 34101. I'll scan it, post it on the site and return your photo. Share your catch with other snook anglers around the world! |
